The California Supreme Court has now ruled that laws banning same-sex marriage are unconstitutional. It is now the second state(following Massachusetts) to do so. It seems like only week ago I was bemoaning the twisted values of my fellow man; how quickly a redeeming salvo may be launched!
Of course now the counter-attacks will begin in the form of amendments to attempt to swiftly nullify this ruling; the maniacal nature of Bible-thumping will see to that.
I would urge others to listen to Mr. Preston Chestworthy and remember that interracial marriages were taboo until the U.S. Supreme Court ruled them constitutional in 1967.
And should your religious practice run to fervor or zealotry, I must ask the following:

If God has the power to resurrect; to move the mountains and seas, would he not have the power to punish sins as he sees fit?

God doesn't need thugs.
